Back to Grade One

I started college again yesterday, whaaoooo!! {drips with sarcasm}. I have to take a taxi everyday, which sucks. I miss cranking up my music and singing to keep awake for that 45min drive in pure darkness.

Tomorrow I start my field placement. It's at a catholic school, and I work with the teacher in a class of Grade 1's. She said that they play alot of games, designed to stimulate their learning capabilities. So, basically I spend two days a week, playing with little kids, and helping them learn to interact with one another peacefully [read: without breaking each other's skulls open with trucks and barbies].

As much as I am not fond of kids, when I came into their classroom to meet them [after my meeting yesterday w/ my field supervisor], they were very energetic and enthusiastic.

I found myself smiling at their antics. I guess it was rubbing off on me....
